Put one of these in a 1990 Corvette, I was amazed at how many features the Boss unit had, and how easy it was to install. That said, this was the perfect choice for me, sure I’ve had the serious 4-12″ sub type setups in the past when I could still hear, and thats not what your going to get from this. If your looking to add some bass, and to fill out tones all the way down to 20Hz for just a great sounding system I would recommend this unit. I have had experience with other powered subs, this by far is the best for the price. You won’t have the plunk sound from cranking the system up that you get from most units like this, my other speakers give out before this does. And yes I did say that this will get you response all the way down to 20Hz! Amazing performance from a package this size. my opinion is that Boss hit a home run with this one.
