It has been noted that the 4th generation iPod Nano has some backward compatibility issues with other devices. For example, the 4th gen nano won’t charge on a lot of older docking stations. I can confirm that these Altec Lansing speakers will charge your iPod Nano 4th generation. See uploaded photo. I was actually assuming it wouldn’t because the description only says compatible with “iPod nano 3rd gen”. These speaker sound good for their size. The “aux” in jack is on the back if you want to use these speakers for other types of mp3 player.
